Daydreaming is quickly becoming a lost artform. It has been maligned over the years as a waste of time. Daydreaming is not a passive activity.
Some may wonder why one should take the time to imagine something when one can go online and get the instant gratification of someone else’s vision? The ability to so easily access vast amounts of information is endangering our creativity. Information is not knowledge. Information is not an end in itself.
We must promote imagination. Imagination is a cornerstone of our humanity. Daydreaming must be cultivated. Project Daydream is a call to action. This is just the first step.
